I am hosting a reprise of a beloved Fauna Speak gathering: a 2-hour event via Zoom entitled ‘Our Amphibious Nature: Supporting Amphibian Sensitivity While Understanding Ours.’ As an empath, I have related to indicator species for a long time. Those delicate and finely tuned beings within our complex ecosystems that are the first to communicate when an imbalance is present. Amphibians (Frogs, Toads, Salamanders, and Newts) often rise to the occasion of revealing to us physically what needs attention in our world. This round table with the Amphibians is an opportunity to do just that. In conversation with them, we will tune into the world in the way in which they feel it, learn how we can support them and gather medicine from the Amphibians on how to support our own sensitives.
