Animal Communication Practice Group: Communication for Conservation + Queen Conch

Join me for an informal, 2-hour animal communication practice session in community with others via Zoom video. This is a great opportunity for those who have taken my Intro to Animal Communication workshops, participated in 1:1 mentorship or for folks who have been gaining confidence in their abilities independently. Learn from each other while sharing your experiences and participate in exercises and visualization that foster a deeper understanding of your process and gifts. Bring your questions and curiosity.

There will be one Animal Communication Practice Group for both November and December to conclude our 2021 meetings. We will resume our regular, monthly schedule in January! And this one is very special! Here are the details:

The final Animal Communication Practice Group of 2021 is going to be very special! Featuring a seriously inspiring human, an incredible species and a theme so dear to our hearts: interspecies communication + conservation! Megan Davis, Ph.D., @queenconchlab will be joining us live from the Queen Conch Hatchery in Puerto Rico. If you have ever attended our practice group, always thought about attending or are simply curious about Conch and/or conservation, you are most welcome to attend!

Here’s a brief bio about guest:

Megan Davis, Ph.D., Research Professor, Aquaculture and Stock Enhancement Program, Florida Atlantic University Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute

Megan has worked in the field of aquaculture for over four decades and has led several team projects throughout the Caribbean and Florida. Her passion for the ocean began as a young girl collecting shells along the beaches of her native Australia. She sailed many summers in The Bahamas with her family, where she fell in love with the queen conch. Megan spent 10 years in the Turks and Caicos Islands as co-founder and chief scientist for the world’s largest queen conch farm. Megan and her team work on queen conch restoration and conservation community partnership projects in Florida, Puerto Rico, The Bahamas and Caribbean. See www.conchaquaculture.org for more information and follow Megan on Instagram @queenconchlab for regular updates on the conch projects.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLBtr2rOFkI The Queen of the Sea is a TEDx presentation where she talks about how she fell in love with the queen conch.

And a big thanks to all her Puerto Rico Queen Conch Hatchery partners: @harborbranch @conservacionconciencia @cjlove_fishing @noaafisheries

Email me at faunaspeak@gmail.com with any questions. If you would like to attend and not ‘practice’ your animal communication but rather observe, that’s just fine too!
