Cicada Summer: Intersecting with Insects

I am hosting a 2-hour event via Zoom on Sunday, June 6th at 11 am PT/2 pm ET entitled ‘Cicada Summer: Intersecting with Insects’

Insects are some of the teeniest we can see with the naked eye. The amount of stewardship they are responsible to on our planet is incredible. And there is so much to unravel in our mutual histories. Where does the human narrative inseparably weave in with insects and how can we support this connection?

If your curiosity it piqued, this event is for you! We will be exploring our ever-changing relationship to insects via acknowledgment and conversation. As well as exploring themes they bring to us: pollination, infestation, fear, symbiosis, heart-based service, biodiversity, etc.

We will be learning how we can work together in a more collaborative way while reducing some misunderstandings. While also listening to and receiving from them while learning to work with them more as messengers and friends!

Bring an insect friend (or someone you want to strengthen your relationship with) - we would love to hear from an insect guest of your choosing. We will also be connecting with the Cicadas and their big summer event!
